DURATION – 4 and 1/2 Years

TOTAL SEATS– ‘190’ (159 seats through C.P.M.T., 28 seats through CBSE Pre Medical Test and 3 seats for government nominee)

ADMISSION– A student is eligible for entry to the course after clearing the 12th class (Intermediate) examination. Admission are made through U.P. State Combined Pre Medical Test (CPMT) conducted by Director General Medical Education and Training, U.P. for 85% seats and All India Medical Entrance Examination (CBSE Examination) for the remaining 15% seats. 3 seats are reserved for nominee of government of other states. Reservation of seats for scheduled caste/tribes and other backward classes are made according to state government guidelines.

SEMESTER– As per guidelines of Medical Council of India there are 9 semester each of 6 months duration.

NOTE – According to Medical Council of India a candidate must have 75% attendance in clinical/lab postings and 75% attendance in lectures and also have secured at least 35% marks in the internal assessment to be eligible to appear in the professional examination.
