Department of immune haematology and blood transfusion ( Transfusion Medicine) was established on 10 October 2014 with the aim of providing safe non-remunerated voluntary blood for all and to strive for establishment of post graduate residency program along with paramedical courses. Diploma in blood transfusion technician is successfully running since 2022 with capacity of 25 seats. Department organizes maximum number of voluntary blood donation camps in U.P. and caters to patients of Kanpur and other adjoining districts. Department has three attached peripheral centers catering to rural population.
